I met it through TikTok and without a doubt it is a place that if you come to Rome you have to visit, it is not touristy at all, in fact it is an incredible and affordable gastronomic experience, every dish we tried was better. It fuses a Japanese combination with traditional Roman foods, something I recommend trying. The treatment was incredible, we are Spanish and they treated us as if we were at home. In short, a highly recommended place if you want to experience something new.

Came here recently I live abroad as I’m a food critic in the Uk and wanted to explore an interesting concept of the food. however the service and atmosphere was awful. The service was horrendous the staff serving had no idea what they were serving and the staff by the entrance couldn’t care less, table was booked for a specific time however the table was busy if you don’t have the capacity to take in customers don’t overbook very simple and the least you can do is offer seating inside while I waited but I had to sit outside in the cold horrible experience. The food actually wasn’t bad however, despite ordering everything I had no idea what I was eating. Having read some of the replies to the reviews I am horrified to see that the owner is defending the poor service by saying the customers are lying absolutely unacceptable you should be ashamed.

Fusion that speaks Roman. "JappoRomano" is a new, modern, well-kept and studied restaurant located in Centocelle, the "new Frontier" neighborhood of Rome's restaurants. The staff is friendly and all welcoming. The flavors are strong (here the flavor stands out) and decisive, all Roman, so much so that the jappo remains in the presentation, more than anything else. I recommend the menu formula (which however is for a minimum of 2 people), so as to taste different things together. If nothing is left to chance, the music should be better chosen to create an ad hoc atmosphere: from the oriental direction to the opposite extreme of ditties, passing through an ambient genre, but not anonymous and banal commercial music... Even chopsticks: what does it take to avoid finding those in the supermarket? In short, many positive aspects, but in the end... I believe that after the "curiosity-busting" test, I will want to go to the Japanese restaurant or to a restaurant
